Cloudburst Founder and VP Adam Bennett participated in a cyber education symposium in Arlington, VA. The panel which included industry thought leaders and academia discussed a range of topics from ways to retain and motivate qualified employees to free training resources. (Cyber) Education is a topic Adam is particularly passionate about, and he was honored to participate in this event to foster improved cyber security education and training for current and perspective cyber security workforce.
July 2013: Cloudburst Security Awarded IT Security Services Contract by United States Mint
Alexandria, VA — July 22, 2013 — Cloudburst Security, a Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) dedicated to protecting U.S. government networks and infrastructure from today’s sophisticated cyber threats, today announced that they have been awarded a contract by the United States Mint. The contract – for the delivery of information technology (IT) security services – is for a base and four option years, with a value of close to $6 million. Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG), one of the largest privately held cybersecurity firms in the United States, is partnering with Cloudburst Security on this contract. more »

Cloudburst Founder and VP Adam Bennett spoke and participated on a panel at the North Carolina Healthcare Information and Communications Alliance (NCHICA) annual Privacy & Security Conference for Academic Medical Centers and Partners in Chapel Hill, NC. Mr. Bennett spoke on Cyber Best Practices that both strengthen defenses and address compliance mandates and participated in a lively and valuable discussion with panel and audience members.
